We started on a monthly basis on Friday nights at Christ Community Church in Rotterdam, NY. Using an old Radio Shack home stereo system hooked up to our karaoke unit, (with the big fake-wooden speakers,) we got the job done. The kids had so much fun that after a few months we decided to extend the night by an extra hour!

During that period, we did a high school graduation party, a Sweet 16 birthday party, and a 50th Wedding Anniversary party! Obviously, we can appeal to any age group.

On one karaoke trip to New Hampshire, our old Radio Shack amp started smoking. As we all know, smoking isn't good for you. We invested in new equipment from the fine folks at Drome Sound, and now have a very nice professional system. I'll post pics soon.

Currently hosting monthly karaoke at The Crossing, at the Ancient Order of Hibernians on State St. in Schenectady. Due to scheduling conflicts, the monthly karaoke at Schenectady First Church of the Nazarene on Consaul Rd in Schenectady has been put on hold.
